It’s only preseason, but Bradley Wright-Phillips is still scoring goals

New York Red Bulls forward Bradley Wright-Phillips established himself as one of the top goalscorers in MLS over the past couple of years. The former Charlton Athletic and Plymouth Argyle forward tied the single-season goals record with 27 goals in 2014 and led the Red Bulls to the Supporters’ Shield with 17 goals last year.

Wright-Phillips’ prowess in front of goal remains firmly in tact, if his pair of goals in a preseason friendly against Montréal Impact in Orlando on Wednesday offers any indication.

The veteran forward opened his account with a clever finish that showcased his control and his precision inside the penalty area.
